This course aims to increase awareness among organisation leaders about providing a trauma-informed approach in the work environment to promote safety and connectedness among employees.
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- explain the term ‘trauma-informed’ and its significance in workplace policies, procedures and practice.
- recognise trauma-specific behaviour and responses
- describe the six principles of trauma-informed approach and their importance in the workplace
